Exciting times at dunk!HQ! After announcing the (almost) complete line-up for dunk!festival 2017 in Belgium we are already looking beyond that wonderful weekend in May and are eager to assemble the line-up for the very first edition of our festival across the Atlantic in Burlington, Vermont. We're doing this together with our good friends of A Thousand Arms. In fact we already started and we thought we could as well share these first interesting confirmations with you. So here they are! The first bands for dunk!USA 2017:

Pelican (Chicago, Illinois) blew us away at dunk!festival 2016 so we thought it was a great idea to kindly ask them to do that again at dunk!USA as the headliner of the first day. Their show at #dnk16 was even that good that we decided to have it pressed on (double) vinyl. There are still a few of those available in our store and at A Thousand Arms (US fans).

Coastlands from Portland, Oregon will have their dunk!premiere at dunk!USA. In fact, they just released an album on dunk!records. To Be Found is an interesting audio journey through the landscapes of our imagination. We really want to experience this live and dunk!USA is going to be the place to do that!

Set and Setting from Florida released their latest album Reflectionless on dunk!records just two months ago, which was very well received worldwide. Last February they were featured in The Best Metal on Bandcamp! This show won't be their dunk!festival premiere since they will come over to Europe to play the Belgian edition in May as well.

Pray For Sound from Boston (MA) are bringing excellent post-rock to the scene. Last September they released Everything Is Beautiful on dunk!records and collected some excellent reviews with that (8.8/10 by Arctic Drones to name one). We wanted to see them on our stage so badly that we decided to immediately book them twice. One time in Zottegem and one time in Burlington. Everything Is Beautiful is still available on vinyl.
