We’re incredibly thrilled to be bringing one of the best metal albums of 2023 alive for all of you to witness at this year’s festival. Released to critical acclaim last year, “The Dark Path To The Light” is a mystical journey narrated through scores of psychedelic doom black metal that entrances the listeners in a firm unrelenting grip. Hailing from Brussels, Wolvennest are a supergroup of sort, featuring musicians from cult Belgian metal bands like Musth, Déhà and Temple of Nothing; bands that shaped the underground metal scene for the last 10 years. Reincarnated in this new embodiment, Wolvennest have found a fertile soil on which to build a sonic artefact that draws from countless styles and genres, while staying firmly rooted in progressive metal and psychedelic rock and branching out towards black-metal-esque marching anthems or sprawling doom-ish digressions. Digging deep into their inner selves, both stylistically and thematically, the talented heads inside Wolvennest’s body have managed to weave a captivating narration onto a highly ethereal compositions, transporting the listener along on a path of self-discovery.  Find your inner path to enlightenment at this year’s dunk!festival with Wolvennest!
