OUTDOORS AGAIN

Dunk!festival is now an outdoor festival again. We’re going back to nature’s fresh air and good vibes. The festival set-up will be very similar to what we’ve done before from 2014 to 2019. Some small changes will be made to make sure we can run a smooth festival.

ACCOMMODATION

Like every outdoor festival we will of course offer a camping site again. It is right next to the festival forest and surrounded by Flemish nature and fields. To enter the campsite you will need to have a camping ticket. Please do bring your camping gear.

Also available this year is a glamping site where we offer a nice selection of glamping tents and huts. These come with beds and everything you need for a comfortable stay at the festival. Read more here.

If you’re not into camping we suggest to book a nice B&B in the surrounding towns or even in Ghent, Aalst, Oudenaarde, which all within a 30 minute drive.

ACCESSIBILITY

By train

Zottegem station has a good connection to different cities in the country. There are direct trains to Ghent, Brussels, Oostende or Antwerp through Ghent for example. Please be aware that trains in Belgium are not driving at night. If you’re planning to stay outside of town you should plan your trip to go up and down to the festival.

By car

By car dunk!festival can be reached by the E40 exit ‘Wetteren / Zottegem’ if you’re coming from the West side of the country (Ghent) or exit ‘Erpe-Mere / Zottegem’ if you’re coming from the East (Brussels). There is an express way connecting the highway to Zottegem. Please do check the last few kilometers on your route to make sure you don’t get trapped in current roadworks. Depending on the specific phase of these works there will be different directions to follow.

There will be a parking space set-up specifically for the festival. This will be located right next to the festival and will be free to access or exit any time.

By plane

If you're coming by plane from Brussels Zaventem you can use a direct train from Zaventem to Zottegem. Easy! When you arrive in Zottegem it’s a 3km walk through the Flemish Ardennes. Or you can take a taxi or a rental bike or carpool.

FOOD & DRINKS

There will be a food square with more options than ever before. We’ll have our own kitchen, some foodtrucks and even an on site restaurant.

We won’t allow anyone to be thirsty so we will have plenty of options and different spots to order anything you want. Perhaps one of those tasty dunk!beers ;-).
