UK metalheads Conjurer are quite possibly one of the heaviest bands we ever hosted on our stages, but if you thought it’s all about the “heavy” factor, you’d be sadly mistaken! While Conjurer definitely pack a punch, they also pack a certain raw emotional quality that sets them apart from the pack and rightfully puts them at the top of the metal food chain. Despite only having released two full-length albums to-date in fact, the band has toured the globe far and wide and plays with the confidence, control, and composure of veterans. This rawness is best expressed via energetic and intense live shows, that hit hard with their massive sound but also with the deep emotional connection between band and audience.

Conjurer are the frontrunners of the recent post-metal revival, and their sprawling compositions are not purely based on only full-out aggression but are filled with atmospheric passages and gripping climaxes. The band’s sophomore record Pathos was rightly listed as one of the best metal albums of 2022 and saw them expanding their sound even more with the introduction of clean vocals and richly intricate melodic moments. The resulting mix is a cornucopia of sounds and moods that is impossible to pin point and that is just as impossibly catchy. Connjurer’s groovy post- compositions are a captivating display of all things we’ve grown to love in this genre, and dabbling in clean-singing, folk-ish guitars, and shoegazing passages, have grown to become stable residents on our playlists.
