Through sheer dedication Divided have emerged from the Belgian undergrowth as one of the most promising prospects in the European hardcore scene. Despite having released only one EP to-date, the band has spent years honing their craft and already shared the stage with veterans like The Ocean, LLNN, and Psychonaut. Their energetic live shows have in fact largely contributed to grow the band’s reputation, including a memorable performance at dunk!festival in 2022! Determined to break the mould and conjugate hardcore’s aggressive character with post-rock blissful qualities, Divided’s music breaks boundaries between seemingly contrasting genres, but also seemingly contrasting emotions. Each song is both heart-wrenching and strangely uplifting, with a message of hope sung through a bleeding, yet honest heart.
