“Post-classical”, “neo-classical”, “non-classical”: nobody knows what to call this music – but Neil Leiter and Margaret Hermant, aka Echo Collective, don't mind one bit! Defying all genre’s standards and expectations has been their mission since starting Echo Collective, an experimental neo-classical project founded out of the duo’s desire to explore all that music has to offer outside of conventional boundaries. The result? A highly captivating of mix of styles and instruments exploring the farthest-reaching corners of ambient and classical music and featuring highly evocative poly-instrument compositions featuring piano, organ, violin, guitars, electronics and drone!
