Marta De Pascalis (de)

Since 2014, Italian sound-alchemist Marta De Pascalis has been creating luscious electro-ambient soundscapes, sparsely populated by sweeping synths and tape loops. Her creations are a colourful and fuzzy carpet of warm and relaxing sound, an hypnotic and entrancing voyage into this blissful world of sound alternations. The majority of Marta De Pascalis’ compositions in fact, revolve around altering tape-loops systems, creating patterns through repetitions, and suggesting a vivid sense of recollection via entropic movement. These analog sonic layers waver, contract and expand, and guide the listener through a journet of deep meditation and cathartic relaxation. A true feast for the ears, Marta De Pascalis’ set will be a true highlight at the festival, and provide a moment of respite from much louder roaring post-rock jams!
