Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most importantly, your ticket provides access to the festival area, including stages and central food/merch square. It does not give you access to the camping ground. You need a camping ticket to enter the camp site.

The festival parking areas are free to use until they’re full.

  • Unfortunately we can’t allow any refunds. We need to spend a lot money on logistical and practical challenges that are sized to the amount of tickets we sell. Any refunds will make that job harder. If you can’t attend the festival after all, it is allowed to sell your ticket through Ticketswap.

  • That's not a problem. If you show up with the ticket, we will scan the ticket and provide a wristband. No questions asked. If you lose the ticket with another name on there, we will need to know that name to search the ticket in our system.

  • No panic. It is most likely waiting for you in your spam folder. Please check. If you carefully checked all your email folders and spam folders and you still haven’t found your ticket, you can reach out to us and we will resend your ticket.

  • Easy, go to the ticket store and buy a new one! Just kidding of course. Go to your virtual email waste bin and bring it back. Download it and put it in the middle of your desktop so it will never be lost again. What!? You deleted your waste bin at the same time? Then you'll have to buy a new ticket after all. No, just kidding again. Simply get in touch and we'll resend your ticket!

  • We think it's a waste of paper to sell e-tickets that have to be printed. If you like you can print them but feel free to just bring them on your smartphone. As long as we can scan the barcode on there everything will be ok. If you print your ticket make sure to not fold the paper through the barcode. We won't be able to scan the barcode in that case and we'll need to look you up in our system and people will be lining up behind you and they will be getting nervous and our crew will start to stress out, pushing the wrong keys, making you and that entire line behind you have to wait even longer. In the meantime the first band already started playing and you still don't have that wristband to go and check them out and you know it's gonna be a good show because even the first band at our festival can be one of the highlights of the weekend. Anyway, it's probably not going to take that long to fix the barcode issue but you get the point right?

  • In theory you don't really need cash money at the festival because there is a bank wired thingy to pay with your card for food, drinks, records or anything else. But if you ask nicely we can use that bank wired thingy to take some money from your account onto our account and give it back in cash. So we do have something that looks like an ATM but it is limited. It might be interesting to bring at least some cash with you to the festival. Some bands usually accept cash only if you want to buy a record from them in our merch area.

  • Great to know that you're coming from the other side of the world! It's pretty easy to get to the festival. Take a plane to Brussels (Zaventem) from wherever you are located. In Zaventem there is a train to Brussels (Midi) where you can switch to a train going to Zottegem (there are several options here). If the stars are aligned just right and trains are driving on time you should be able to travel from Brussels airport to Zottegem in just one hour and thirty minutes. The festival is located just outside Zottegem. 3km to be precise. That's a nice walk through the Flemish country side.

  • No. We have a few voluntary drivers but we need them to be available for artists. Otherwise there would be an audience but no act on stage. Sorry! If there is a quiet moment we might put our drivers to work anyway and ask them to pick up some post-rockers at the train station.

  • From the train station? Yes of course! Excellent idea. Just use your phone GPS to get to the festival site. Make sure to take the scenic route if you can. Unless you’re heavy packed. The shortest route is about 3km.

Use Letterkouter 8, 9620 Zottegem. If you see any directions to De Populier, you can follow those.

  • If you’re coming by car it would be best to set your GPS to the exact center of the festival area: Letterkouter 8, 9620 Zottegem. Do not go to Kouterken like previous editions. You will get stuck. The parking spaces are located at Blarenhoek, which is on the road to Letterkouter 8. When you’re getting closer to the festival area you will be able to follow the signs.

  • Yes! Everyone probably has a phone with a camera so it wouldn’t make sense to try and keep cameras out. And if you are interested in bringing more professional gear, we can only encourage that. Please do respect the general rule of photographing the first 2 or 3 songs of the set only. If any other restrictions apply they will be communicated on the front of the stage.

Please take care of your gear and don’t leave it unattended.

  • We encourage to try and keep your phone closed as much as possible and simply enjoy your time outdoors in the company of a whole bunch of nice people and bands from all over the world. However, if you want to charge your battery, we’ll make sure to provide some spots where you can plug in your phone, while you recharge your own batteries with some dunk!fries or a coffee for example.

  • Excellent question. We’re setting up our own food stands like we used to do and there will be a few additional foodtrucks for a more variated menu.

Also the new restaurant ‘Jochie Jochie’, located on the festival site will open its doors and serve some delicious dishes.

Our kitchen opens on Thursday at noon with sandwiches, fries and hot dogs. Later in the day we will also serve hot meals until 22:00 and the foodtrucks will open their doors in the afternoon as well.

On Friday and Saturday we’re selling breakfast from 09:30 to 11:00.

  • Yes, there is a bakery and supermarket within 1km from the festival. It’s a nice little walk through the historical town of Velzeke with its newly renovated church, built with the remaining stones of roman villas.

  • Technically we open the camping site on Thursday morning. If you are one of many fans traveling from far away, we understand it’s not easy to aim your arrival on Thursday morning. So whoever arrives at the end of the day on Wednesday will be allowed to access the camping site when you have a camping ticket.

Camping site closes on Sunday, around noon. Thanks in advance for taking care of your garbage and putting it in the right places!

  • Simple: be nice to each other. Don’t make any open fire. No BBQ please. Don’t bring any glass. And please keep it clean. You’ve been champions in that for the past decade and it really shows the amount of respect everyone has for this beautiful location, the environment in general and for each other. Thank you!
