Even though it’s only been 3 years since their last appearance, Caspian’s long-anticipated return to the festival promises to be a major highlight of this edition. Not only because the Boston-based outfit has finally earned their well-deserved headlining spot, but also because their uniquely cinematic brand of post-rock has proven to be a fan favourite at every previous edition.
We can hardly blame our fans for Caspian embody everything we love about post-rock; the sweeping crescendoes, the thrilling climaxes, and soothing atmoshepres, Caspian deliver all in their own unique fashion. A signature sound that has garnered them universal acclaim and a worldwide audience, and has pushed post-rock into the spotlight.
Caspian’s uniquely cinematic sound is best enjoyed live, and we cannot wait for their return to the the forest for a headline show to cherish and remember for years to come.
