We Lost The Sea (au)

Last year We Lost The Sea released the monumental “A Single Flower”, a post-rock epic of monumental proportions. Featuring some of the band’s best tracks to date, including the massively sprawling “Blood Will Have Blood”, the album presented the band us a newer, more suspenseful version of the band, one that seems to be perfectly at ease with the same bombastic climaxes but also slowing things down to almost doom metal atmospherics.

The album is also We Lost The Sea’s most eerie record to date, offering a chilling commentary of today’s society and our internal struggles and it’s a true work of beauty. Standing solitary against a storm brewing, “A Single Flower” is a fitting reminder that gentleness and grace will triumph against all odds.
