New Dates for 2027!
We hope you all had a good summer and enjoyed some time off. At least we did after a wonderful edition of our festival back in the forest! I think you will all agree that the forest is our home and is adding this extra layer on top of the experience.

However, if we want to set-up next edition in this same magical forest, we need to consider some important details. One of them is that the forest that our fathers and grandfathers built, became a valuable habitat for many animals and this area is recognized for exactly that by the Agency of Forest & Nature. It’s an honor to carry this status and to see that we actually contribute to a more natural diverse area. But it also means that we need to comply with certain laws and restrictions. In 2026 we were able to make all of that work but that turned out to be an exception. For 2027 it means we have to move the festival weekend to a new date to avoid breeding season. While we try to limit the impact on the environment as much as possible, the Agency is very strict when it comes to setting up events in a forest area (whether it’s our own officially registered recreational forest or not) in the month of May (actually mid March to end of June). That means, we just can’t.
In the last few weeks and days we spent a lot of time trying to figure out if we could set it up one more time in May but we wanted to secure the dates and inform you all as soon as possible. So we looked into possible dates and all things considered, we agreed on August 26-28th. We refuse to see this as a setback and are focussing on the good sides of this change. At least the nights are not going to be as cold as last time and more bands will be able to perform after sunset. Also the land owners for the camping and parking areas are happier with this date.
So bottom line. We’re staying in the forest but therefore we changed the dates to late August. End of summer has never been so exciting! We hope you’re all joining us again for what will definitely be another marvelous edition!
